Velvety Goodness

Trendsetter Solange was photographed rocking these funk purple crushed velvet pumps. It seems that purple shoes are also popping up as a trend this season!! If you're feeling the velvety goodness, you can get your hands on a pair of your own. Velvet pumps are popping up at retailers all over, it's definitly adding a little mix to the holidays. Winter Romance

Not that it's really winter here in California, there is no snow, but it is cold and rainy (40-60 degrees) which is only technically cold to California standards, but none the less it's winter to us. Before this season is over there are a few trends I'm dying to squeeze in before its too late. Sequins and Fur.... while I think sequins might be around for a while into summer as a cute go to piece to add sparkle on a summer's night. Fur and faux fur is almost out the door! Time to get those last finds of faux fur scarfs, jackets, vests and skirts (like the one above) before its too late. I'm also into velvet and crushed velvet.   (bodysuit from Forever21 $15.80)
