Lux for Less: Naked vs. Nude

Perhaps the title of this blog post was misleading. Oh well... The Urban Decay Naked pallet is flying off the shelves of Sephora, this pallet contains all nude color eye shadows and is practically the perfect pallet for everyday wear. It retails at $48, which may be too much for my frugalistas to cash out. NYX Cosmetics also has their own version of this palette, complete with 20 eyeshadows and 10 lip colors.

Lux for Less: Steve Madden Treppidd

Lace up wedges are a very popular style and seem to have some staying power even as we approach the summer. It's a great alternative for those outfits you'd normally wear with boots, because seriously who wants to wear boots in the scorching summer sun. Anyways here is another pair designer inspired shoes to add to your collection. Both are very reminiscent of the opening ceremony 'Stefania 3' wedge.

Jeffrey Campbell heels are always super crazy and inventive and also usually tote a pretty nice price tag. I really love these wedges, but I don't know that I'm down to pay $125 for them, no matter how funky they are. Hmmmm.... Luckily I've found a cheaper alternative for only $35! They look almost identical. The Mary Rok wedges are available in six colors and the cheaper alternative from Bumper is available in two colors.

Knock it Off! Real vs. Steal

Back with another one! As I was browsing window shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue (online of course) I came across these gorgeous Fendi heels! Then I was like, "Wait a minute, I have these" now of course mine are not real Fendi, but they are definitely a great knock off that I was completely unaware of. I bought my Miss Me pumps last year and had no clue they were Fendi inspired. They're still available online in faux suede and they are also available in a faux leather finish as well. The color isn't as vibrant as the Fendi pumps, but these are by far the most comfortable heels I own.
