The Boyfriend Watch

So boyfriend anything is and has been a trend for a while, from sweaters to shirts and jeans. So of course you'd have boyfriend watches. Leading the pack with probably one of the most sought after boyfriend watch styles for us gals is Michael Kors. His watches are amazing! Of course, if you don't have the $250 to spend on your time piece you can still get the look for a lot less. Here are some great affordable alternatives:

Do It Yourself: T-Shirt Necklace

I had the DIY itch again and decided to make this T-Shirt Necklace which was featured on Martha Stewart's Wholeliving.com

These are super cute, and surprisingly quick and easy to make. I followed the instructions exactly, using a T-Shirt from an old Forever21 (97% cotton, 3% spandex). Once it was done I didn’t like how my seams at the bottom of the necklace looked so I decided to grab a strip of fabric from my craft bin (yes, I have one) and wrapped the end. I loved the look of this, it adds a little more pizazz to the project. Also, I had one strip that stretched longer than the rest so I looped it around the other strands to creat the “twisted” look. I also thought about adding studs to this as another alternative, I may make another on and try that out.  I had fun making this, hope you will too!

Hats Off To You!

A perfect transition piece and an upcoming trend for Spring 2010 is hats! Straw hats and fedoras being top of the list. You can ditch the beanies and crochet knit hats that you've been hiding under on bad hair days and put on a hat to spice up your outfits this spring, and of course, they're still really good for those bad hair days.

Accessory Obsessed: Erica Anenberg

Hey all! Had to come and share some fabulous jewelry with you guys. I can't wait to get my hands on some of these pieces. Accessories are one of my favorite things, so when I found out about Erica Anenberg, I had to share.

Erica Anenberg's gorgeous pieces have been seen on celebs like Rihanna and Miley Cyrus. She designs necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. I'm in love with her enamel jewelry. She is also the original createor of two fingered rings which she trademarked as the Twosome ring.
