How to Dress For the Gym

So since this is a fashion blog I figured I'd ask if any of you care what you wear to the gym? Usually we see celebs rushing out the gym looking rather normal. You may think how you dress for the gym isn't all that important but it is. Not only because you could be catching the eye of the hot trainer in the gym, but it could also make you feel better about your work outs. Ditch the overly baggy bleach stained sweats and get into something a little more stylish to help you burn off those calories.

1. Tight clothes vs Baggy Clothes
Of course if you're at the gym to lose weight you may not want to opt for a super tight workout outfit. That doesn't mean you have to ultra baggy clothes however. You want to look for fitted clothes that'll allow you to be able to move comfortably. Clothes too baggy or tight may hinder your movements.

2. Make sure you have a good sports bra
A great sports bra is just as important as a great pair of shoes. No one wants to see you and the girls bouncing on the treadmill. Perverts maybe, the rest of us.. no!

3. Buy multiples of an item
Once you find what styles you want to wear and what you enjoy working out in, buy a lot of them. Love stretch pants, then stock up on those. It'll make shopping for new work out clothes easy, and you won't have to worry about what you're going to wear to the gym every time. Remember, when you work out you sweat, so that means you have to do laundry. You don't want to keep from your workout because your favorite style of sweats are dirty.

4. Don't over do it
You want to look presentable not like you're going in to star in the next fitness video complete with full makeup. So don't over do it. It's great to coordinate, but you don't have to have the entire adidas fit with matching hat, water bottle and gym bag.
